Year 6 London Zoo

In our literacy lessons, we have been thinking about a big question: Should animals be kept in captivity? To find out more about animals in captivity, we visited London Zoo and learned about the work they are doing to protect the many species which are at risk of extinction in the wild. We also looked closely at animals that are endangered and are at potential risk of becoming extinct.

We were very lucky to see the new Sumatran tiger cubs with their mother; they are only a few months old.
