Primary Science Quality Mark
We are currently in the process of renewing our Primary Science Quality Mark GILT award which we first applied for in 2019 going straight in at GILT level.
Primary Quality Science Mark Awards Evening – On 13/11/19, Ms. Fernandes attended the PQSM award’s evening in Central London to receive Hallsville’s GILT award
This Primary Science Quality Mark has been awarded to us by local experts to celebrate our commitment to excellence in Science teaching and learning.
Jane Turner, PSQM National Director said “Gaining a Primary Science Quality Award is a significant achievement for a school. The profile and quality of Science teaching and learning in each awarded school is very high. Children are engaging with great science, both in and outside of the classroom, developing positive attitudes towards Science as well as secure scientific understanding and skills. Science subject leaders, their colleges, head teachers, children, parents and governors should be very proud.
We are very proud of our award and we would like to say a big thank you to Ms Fernandes for her continued hard work as our science leader.
