OFSTED

We are delighted to welcome OFSTED inspectors to Hallsville Primary School. On this page you will find links to our most recent Ofsted report and Ofsted Parent View as well as links to all the information that the school has a statutory duty to provide.

For our parents and visitors finding out about how well our schools are doing, Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. They report directly to the Government and are independent and impartial. They inspect and regulate services which care for children and young people, and those providing education and skills for learners of all ages.

Ofsted come into schools to make judgements about:

  • The quality of education within the school
  • The behaviour and attitudes of learners
  • The personal development of learners
  • The quality of leadership and management of the school
  • The quality of provision in the Early Years setting

A report is then written and published on the Ofsted website. Please click on the link to view Hallsville’s most recent Ofsted report. Our most recent inspection was in January 2023 and we were judged to be outstanding.

Ofsted has a section on their website where it wants to get the views of the parents within the school. There are 12 questions to answer and you will have to register to use this part of the Ofsted website. Please register to share your experience here about our wonderful school. Click on the link below to take you straight to the Parent View website.

In addition to OfSTED we continue to seek external validation of our provision through a variety of other channels which supports us in identifying our strengths and those areas where we can improve our provision. We are delighted to have been the recipients of many awards which recognise our ongoing commitment to provide a world class education to create world class citizens. Our most recent achievements include becoming a UK Literacy Association School of the year during the academic year 2021 – 2022 in recognition of our outstanding literacy programme and our students’ amazing achievements. We were also the winner of Newham’s RE award for the 2021 – 2022 school year. Most recently we have won a silver award in relation to our Rights Respecting Schools status. We are delighted to have our achievements acknowledged on a national stage and to be achieving our vision of offering a ‘World Class Education’.

In addition to the awards above we are thrilled to have been shortlisted for MAT of the year category at the MAT Excellence Awards MAT Excellence Awards and we look forwards to sharing good news in the future.

Badges representing our numerous other achievements can be found at the bottom of the page.
