London Mini Marathon
On Saturday 20th April, 9 Hallsville students took part in the Mini Marathon in Central London! It was a fantastic opportunity for all of them to run on the same course as the London Marathon and finish in the iconic location just outside Buckingham Palace! All finished within the top 150 children in their wave and even earned a medal for their efforts. Great job to them all!
2022-2023
Marathon Kids: Dawud 5G & Lisa-Maria 6N are the first children to reach the Marathon distance! Excellent job to them both!
Easter Relays: Eight Year 4-6 children participated in a running competition at West Ham Park showing great enthusiasm, determination and support for their teammates and other schools. It was a rainy day but both teams ran the fastest they could and even won an Easter Prize!
Easter Football Tournament: Across the last week of the Spring Term, each year group has hosted an Easter Football Tournament in PE, putting their skills to the test against their fellow peers. Each child played well alongside their teammates, showing great sportsmanship with some managing to win some medals! We are so proud of them all!
SEND London Bowling Competition at Namco Escape
On the 8th February 5 selected children attending the SEN London bowling finals which was held at the Namco escape in Romford.
The selected children came out victorious and won gold!!

Newham SSP Futsal Competition at Rokeby School
On the 8th February the 10 children competed in a Newham SSP futsal competition at Rokeby school. The children finished the competition without loosing a single game and winning the final on penalties!!
Congratulations to the 10 children who showed an exceptional determined mindset and team working skills in winning the futsal competition!

Westham United Football Tournament
On the 31st January 10 children represented Hallsville Primary school in the West Ham United Foundation football tournament.
World Cup poster competition
To celebrate the World Cup and diversity within sport the PE department held a World Cup poster competition. 12 winners were selected in ks2 and were awarded with a trip to the Olympic stadium which is the home of the Premier League side West Ham United F.C! The children thoroughly enjoyed the experience of going behind the scenes in a football stadium.

On Monday 6th June 2022, 16 pupils from Hallsville took part in the KS1 Mini Olympics at Newham Leisure Centre. They all showed great determination in all the events and most of all had fun! A fantastic job to them all!
March
On Friday 4th March, Hallsville came 1st in the London Dodgeball Tournament and has qualified for the National Dodgeball Finals Tournament.
February
On the 22nd February Hallsville took part in the Tag Rugby Competition held at East London Rugby Ground and they came in 2nd place.
Mini Olympics
November
Friday 12th November 2021, 4 pupils from Hallsville took part in the New Age Kurling Event held at Southern Road School.
October
Tues 19th October 2021, 29 pupils from Hallsville took part in the Year 4,5 and 6 Cross Country competition which was held at West Ham Park. They were extremely successful.
Thursday 14th October 2021, 8 pupils from Hallsville took part in the girls football tournament held at West Ham Park. They performed at a very high standard and we are extremely proud of them.
Monday 11th October, 11 pupils from Hallsville took part in the KS1/KS2 Panathlon Sporting Event held at Newham Leisure Centre. They competed in a wide variety of events including; boccia, athletics, target throws, relays and many more fun and engaging activities.
