2017-18

Mini Olympics

On the 23rd November, Hallsville took part in the first Year 3/4 Mini Olympics. They demonstrated high levels of determination and team work which enabled them to accomplish 1st place. Well done, we are extremely proud of their achievement.

Panathlon Sport Event

Hallsville took part in the Cumberland SSP/YST Inclusion Newham Panathlon Sport Event on the 29th November held at Newham Leisure Centre. Our students got the opportunity to take part in a wide variety of sports such as; New Age Kurling, Seated Volleyball, parachute games and tennis just to name a few. They achieved third place, well done.

 

Kurling Competition

Hallsville competed in the KS2/KS3 SEND New Age Kurling Competition on 6th November 2017 held at Cumberland School. They performed exceptionally well and they accomplished 3rd place. We are extremely proud of them.

   

Cross Country Run

On the 20th October 2017, the KS2 students competed in their Hallsville Cross Country Run. It was a race that demonstrated their passion, resilience and aerobic fitness to complete the course. Everyone completed the course and we are extremely proud of them. A special well done to those who finished 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each class.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

   

Netball Competition

On the 17th October Hallsville competed in the Year 5/6 Netball Competition held at Cumberland School. They performed extremely well and they advanced to the finals where they finished in second place.

Mini Olympics

Our KS1 students competed in the KS1 Mini Olympics. They demonstrated high levels of hand eye coordination, balance and team work that they accomplished second place at the Mini Olympics.

 
 

 
2016-17

Panathlon

On Monday the 21st November, nine children from Hallsville took part in the Cumberland SSP/ YST Inclusion Newham Panathlon Sports Event held at Newham Leisure Centre. These children took part in 10 events such as; Boccia, Archery, Parachute games and Volleybat just to name a few. They performed exceptionally well that they were the runners up and they also received a Panathlon medal.

Quad Kids

Year 5 and 6 pupils from Hallsville competed in a Quad Kids competition on 14th June, Hallsville finished 5th out of 6 schools.

2015-16

Mini Olympics

Hallsville competed in the KS1 Mini Olympics held at Eastlea Community School.  The children took part in a range of activities testing their agility, balance, coordination and speed. They were the overall winners of the event. They were awarded certificates, gold medals and a trophy. Excellent job!​

Great School Run

Well done to all of the Key Stage 2 children who participated in the annual Great School Run on 22nd October 2015. It was fantastic to see such strong determination and team spirit from every child. A special well done to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed children in each class. Here are some photos of the event and the winners.​

 

Cricket

Currently, a group of Year 5 and 6 boys are participating in the 2015 Newham Primary Cricket League and have already played a few games against other schools. Here are some photographs of them in action!

Quadkids Athletics Competition

On the 4th June 2015, two teams of children from Hallsville took part in the Quadkids Athletics Competition at the Terence McMillan Stadium at Newham Leisure Centre. It was an action-packed day where every child had to compete in four events: vortex throw, standing long jump, 60m sprint and 600m run. After a fierce competition full of talented athletes, Hallsville achieved 3rd place and were put through to the finals. It was a very enjoyable day.

Football

On the first week of April 2015, Years 3-6 participated in the annual competitive football tournament with the children in their year group. The results of the competitions were very close with lots of talent being demonstrated across the Key Stage! It was a very enjoyable day and it was wonderful to see so much encouragement and sportsmanship from the children.

Mini Olympics

Sixteen pupils from Year 1 and 2 competed in a Mini Olympics competition held at Cumberland School. The children took part in a range of activities testing their agility, balance, coordination and speed. All the children worked incredibly hard and enjoyed the event immensely. The children were highly commended for their team work and sportsmanship.
